What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is the intrinsic reward. Having the ability and opportunity to guide people into a role that fits their needs, fits the department’s needs, and contributes to the success of Northwestern fulfills me.
Do you belong to any NU affinity groups or organizations?
I belong to Northwestern’s ASAG community and the Out Network. I strongly recommend employees find an affinity group that fits their interests!
What do you enjoy about being part of these groups?
I enjoy building a community with people who resonate with and support the mission of the affinity groups. Additionally, Northwestern is quite a large university. Affinity groups give me the opportunity to interact with and form relationships with people I may have never interacted with otherwise.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I am known by my friends for having a million hobbies! A short list of my hobbies include: taking walks down the lakefront in the summer, crocheting, sewing, baking, cooking, curating specific playlists based on a mood/activity/theme, video games, trying new restaurants, and spending time with my friends and family.
