This offer is contingent upon compliance with Form I-9 completion timelines and confirmation of employment authorization by E-Verify.

Instructions

To comply with Federal law, Northwestern University participates in E-Verify. All newly-hired employees are queried through this electronic system established by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Social Security Administration (SSA) to verify their identity and employment eligibility. Section 1 of the Form I-9 may be completed upon your acceptance of this job offer, but no later than your first day of employment. On your first day, but no later than your fourth day, you will need to bring original documentation to verify your eligibility to work in the U.S.

To access Northwestern University’s online I-9 Service Center to complete Section 1, go to: https://northwestern.i9servicecenter.com/Login.aspx.

Upon login, you will need to enter the following information:

School/Area: <<Enter School/Area Here>>
Department/Center: <<Enter Dept/Center Here>>

Review the list of acceptable documents you may provide to establish your identity and work authorization. Please note that you must have original documents with you for Section 2 meeting.

If you will be providing a document from List B to establish your identity, it must have a photograph.
