Music Academy Reduced Tuition Benefits
This benefit is for non-degree lessons taken at Bienen Music School’s Music Academy. It covers 25% of lessons fees; the benefit is limited to lesson fees only.
Eligibility
- Employees: This benefit is available for full-time, benefits-eligible faculty and staff at the University. No service years are required.
- Dependents: Eligible spouses and Dependent children taking non-degree lessons in the Music Academy in the School of Music.
- Visiting Scholars and Northwestern Hospital employees: Not eligible for the benefit.
Eligibility Process
Interested employees should first complete the inquiry questionnaire on the web site below. Visit the website below for more information on available lessons and classes, or e-mail with questions.

If employment drops to part-time or is terminated, please notify the Academy before registering for a new quarter.
Benefit payments
Approved Music Academy Reduced Tuition Benefits will be applied directly to the employee's charges at the Music Academy.
