Life Insurance
Northwestern's Life Insurance is underwritten by MetLife. Northwestern provides a combination of Basic Term Life Insurance, paid by the University, for you and the opportunity to purchase additional Supplemental, Spouse, and Dependent Child Term Life Insurance, paid by you based on group insurance rates. It is important to annually review your life insurance beneficiaries and your current benefit elections to ensure they still meet the needs of you and your family.
