About the center
- The McGaw YMCA Children’s Center is a leader in providing high-quality, year-round child care, preschool, and school-age programming for more than 30 years.
- Offer a full range of affordable and accessible programs for children ages 6 weeks to 14 years old.
- Serve children 6 weeks to 6 years of age in full-day childcare and preschool.
- Serve children 5-14 years of age in afterschool programs and day camps.
- Play-based curriculum.
- Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- NAEYC accredited.

- The McGaw YMCA Children’s Center offers a free youth membership to benefits-eligible employees and students of Northwestern University if your child is enrolled in a program within the McGaw Children's Center.
- McGaw YMCA is able to offer benefits-eligible faculty, staff, and students priority enrollment and 10% discount for eligible Northwestern families.
