There is never a dull moment for MaryPat Pyles: As a customer service manager for Facilities Management, she sits at the intersection of continual service requests from students, parents of students, staff and faculty. From improving business efficiencies to recruiting and training employees and sitting front and center on strategic initiatives, MaryPat shares, “I am fortunate to cast a wide net across many facets of Northwestern.”

Despite the demands of her role, MaryPat has pursued Northwestern’s professional development opportunities, such as the Manager Foundations program, which has supported her professional trajectory. “Northwestern is an employer that provides flexibility and growth. Relationship building is a key motivator for MaryPat, who gives back to the NU community by serving as a mentor. “I enjoy guiding and sharing my business strategies and experience with new managers. The relationships I have made through this process provide me with great joy! I also take great pride to have built and maintained a team of true professionals at Facilities Customer Service.”
