Dorina Aguilar Rasmussen has spent more than a decade building her career at Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications. Starting as an assistant director for the Office of Student Life, Rasmussen has been promoted four times. “I am honored to have been given so many opportunities to grow and develop professionally at Northwestern,” says Rasmussen, who is now the school's Associate Dean for Student Affairs. 

These opportunities include participating in multiple staff leadership development programs at Kellogg School of Management. She has also worked on groups such as the University Diversity Leaders group, the University Diversity Council and Student Enrichment Services Advisory Committee. 

In these roles, she has focused her impact on improving the experience for Northwestern students. Says Rasmussen, “I hope to make a positive impact at Northwestern by continuously evaluating and assessing my work.”
