Individual Contributors
Many of the skill paths offered in our Professional Skills Curriculum are designed to strengthen both professional and leadership development—empowering individual contributors to enhance their personal effectiveness, collaborate more effectively, and influence others with confidence.
Our updated curriculum provides a variety of opportunities to build key competencies that can be applied at any stage of your career. Additionally, Level 1 of the Manager Foundations program offers valuable insights that can benefit those aspiring to leadership roles in the future.

Additional Programing:
- Lead 4 Success™ (currently on hold)
- Offered in partnership with the Center for Creative Leadership, this program's teaching model is built on the premise that leadership is not defined by one’s job title, that leadership is a process rather than a person, and that whether or not one is a formal leader, one is engaged in the process of leadership.
- Northwestern Emerging Leaders Program
- In its past iterations the program was open only to early career women who wanted to elevate themselves and others to ensure the fullest expression of their talents, paving the way for all women to flourish and thrive as leaders. We are currently exploring opportunities to redesign this program, opening it to other Staff Affinity Groups across the University, who are not only inspired but also deeply committed to making an impact, to position themselves for future leadership roles.
