Flu Shots

Human Resources has partnered with CVS to host on-campus flu shots this fall. NEW! The updated COVID vaccine will also be available.

• These on-campus clinics are for University staff and faculty. 
• Students seeking flu shots should contact the Student Health Services Office.
• The flu and COVID vaccines are free for employees enrolled in a University-sponsored Blue Cross Blue Shield Illinois (BCBSIL) health insurance plan, and insurance information will need to be entered when scheduling your appointment. 
  • When prompted to select coverage, select I have only non-Medicare insurance and enter your BCBSIL insurance information.
• Employees with another health insurance provider can participate*.  

*Most health insurance plans cover the cost of the flu and COVID vaccines at $0 for the member. If you have coverage other than BCBSIL and would like to participate in one of the on-campus vaccine clinics, please contact your insurance provider to inquire about vaccine benefits and cost coverage.  

You are also welcome to receive your flu shot and/or COVID booster on your own from your primary care provider or local pharmacy.

• Appointments are required. 
• There may be a limited number of walk-in appointments available on each date, and walk-ins are not guaranteed. 
• Please wear a short sleeve or loose-fitting shirt on the day of your scheduled appointment.
